All walkers taking part in the walk do so at their own risk. No liability can be accepted by the organisers or the leader(s) in the event of any loss or accident and /or injury to a participant however caused.
All walkers must observe: - "The Countryside Code" and the "Highway Code."
The leader of the walk is responsible for all decisions appertaining to the walk e.g. the right to alter or postpone the walk and may refuse to take anyone not properly equipped.
Walkers are expected to wear suitable footwear (preferably boots with a good grip and ankle support).
Walkers are strongly recommended to bring with them (and carry the same on the walk) the following list of items as a minimum requirement:
Suitable clothing (including warm garments and headwear)
Water and hot drinks
Walkers are also advised to bring a change of clothing that can be left in the transport until returning from the walk. This should include a pair of clean shoes for your journey home (so you don't leave muddy footprints in the car!)
